Paradise Villas: Our bungalow under the palms

For our first stay we chose Paradise Villas at Saracen Bay. Our beach villa sat under tall palm trees and had air conditioning. The furnishing was pleasantly simple: wood, mosquito nets, a cosy terrace and an open-plan bathroom.

What we loved most was the direct connection to the beach. In the morning you could sit in front of the bungalow for a while, look at the green and then simply walk down to the water. It was less about luxury than about the feeling of really living on a tropical island.

The resort lies at the quieter end of Saracen Bay. It offers different types of villa – so when booking, check whether you are getting an air-conditioned beach villa or another room.
