Robinson Bungalows: Our Superior Bungalow by the sea

At Sunset Beach we moved into a Superior Bungalow at Robinson Bungalows. Our house had two levels: a living area with bamboo furniture downstairs and the cosy bedroom under the pointed wooden roof upstairs. There was also a terrace and a simple bathroom.

It was clear from the start: we had arrived in a different part of the island. The focus is not on the facilities but on the location in the middle of the vegetation, the sea at the door and the peace. If you are looking for modern hotel standards, perfectly reliable Wi-Fi or shops around the corner, this may not be the place for you.

We found the founder and operator very friendly and helpful. As we remember it, a Swiss man was among the early pioneers on this beach. What is documented is that Robinson Bungalows opened back in 2012; we want to verify the exact personal founding story separately before publishing it.
